How can your family and friends help you?

You are getting ready for a big test. You have studied hard for many weeks and you expect to do well! The big day arrives and you take the test. Later, you get your test score. You didn't do well. Actually, you failed! You hoped for a better score so now you feel disappointed. You feel angry and embarrassed too.

Everyone has felt disappointed. So what can you do? M artin LutherKing Jr.said that people should accept their disappointm ent. But they must never lose hope for the future. When you accept your disappointment, you learn from it. And when you have hope, you have courage. Don't be afraid to try again. Here are some helpful tips.

1. Think about why you are disappointed. Were you expecting too much? Having goals is good, but don't put too much pressure on yourself. Start with smaller goals.

2. Focus on other things. Feeling disappointed is a part of life. But feeling happy is too! Enjoy time with your family or friends. Doing something fun will help you focus on positive things.

3. Learn something that will help you in the future. Learn to improve your study habits or how to be better at taking tests. The most important thing you can learn is to never give up!

3. 学习一些能够在未来对你产生帮助的事物。学着改善你的读书习惯,或是增进考试技巧。你最需要学会的一件事情,就是永远不要放弃!
